Morris Harris Arts was founded by Mr. and Mrs. Morris Harris, Guyanese-born Americans whose passion for Africa grew through years of charity mission work in underserved rural communities of northern Ghana. In regions where poverty was high and the weather was extreme, they witnessed resilience and creativity firsthand. Inspired by the artistry of local craftsmen, they envisioned a way to share Africa’s cultural richness with the world while supporting the very communities they served.

Today, Morris Harris Arts is a trusted dealer of authentic African art, offering figurines, wall décor, bowls, sculptures, and cultural artifacts that reflect the spirit of Africa’s traditions. All pieces are sourced directly from artisans across Ghana, who are fairly compensated for their work, with materials obtained in eco-friendly, sustainable ways.
